KC Cinemax Private Limited ("we", "us") operates this website and the online ticketing service at kccinemax.com. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We keep it short and honest because that's all we need.

1. What we collect

When you book a ticket, we collect only what's needed to issue and verify your ticket:

  • Full name - shown on the ticket, checked at the door.
  • Mobile number - used to look up your booking, to recover lost tickets, and to contact you about your show if needed.
  • Email address (optional) - a copy of your ticket link can be sent here if you provide one.
  • Booking details - the movie, showtime, seats, and amount you purchased.
  • Technical data - your IP address and browser user agent, logged automatically when you book. We use this to prevent fraud and to debug issues.

2. Payment information

We do not see, store, or process your bank account number, card details, or OTP codes. All payments are handled by RMA Payment Gateway (Bhutan Financial Services / Royal Monetary Authority's secure payment network). RMA handles your account details directly and returns only a success or failure result to us.

3. How we use your information

  • To issue your ticket and let staff verify it at the entrance.
  • To let you retrieve your ticket if you lose the link.
  • To reply to enquiries you send us (phone, WhatsApp, email).
  • To reconcile payments with RMA and prevent fraudulent bookings.
  • To comply with legal and tax requirements (GST invoicing).

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers or any third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Who can see your information

  • Cinema staff and management - for booking, check-in, and customer service.
  • RMA Payment Gateway - to process your payment.
  • Our hosting provider - the server that runs this site stores your booking data on our behalf.

No one else sees your data.

5. How long we keep it

Booking records are retained for up to 3 years for accounting and dispute resolution, then deleted. Server logs are rotated and deleted after 30 days.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Tell you what information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything inaccurate.
  • Delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements).

7. Cookies and sessions

We use a small session cookie only while you are booking, to remember your seat selection and hold details. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

8. Security

Your connection to this site is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Session cookies are HTTP-only and only sent over secure connections. Payment authorisation is handled entirely by RMA.

9. Children

Our service is intended for general audiences. Tickets for children should be booked by a parent or guardian using their own contact details.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
